Roles & responsibilities
- Ensuring that design and research procedures adhere to accepted technical and scientific standards
- Helping to create product development budgets and business plans
- Examining test findings for quality and safety to make that internal and external standards are being followed
- Keeping up with market advancements and converting them into fresh, workable solutions for the company and its clients
- Putting together technical presentations for clients or trade associations
- Keeping an eye on the results of product development to make sure that time, money, technical, and functional goals are fulfilled May oversee the management of the product regulatory approval procedure in some organisations.
- Examine and evaluate the system requirements.
- Work together with QA Engineers to create test plans and tactics that work.
- Run test scenarios (either manually or automatically) and evaluate outcomes.
- Consider the product code in light of the standards.
- Make logs to record testing stages and errors.
- Notify development teams of any problems or errors.
- Aid in problem-solving.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle by conducting post-release and post-implementation testing.
