About ADP
Along with his brother Joe Taub, Henry Taub established Automatic Payrolls, Inc. in 1949 as a manual payroll processing company. In the first days of the business, Frank Lautenberg joined the brothers. Following his successful tenure in sales and marketing, Lautenberg joined the two brothers as a full-fledged partner in 1957. In 1961, ADP went public with 300 clients, 125 staff members, and roughly US$400,000 in revenue. In 1965, the corporation opened a branch in the United Kingdom. Lautenberg was identified as the company’s president in 1970.
