Roles & Responsibilities
Below are the Roles & Responsibilities –
- Examine current and new client accounts, and confirm the individuals’ identities.
- Evaluate the risks related to clients or goods.
- Finish KYC onboarding for both new and current clients (KYC Refresh) by examining client records, vendor databases, and information submitted into proprietary.
- Gaining familiarity with AML/BSA-related regulations; conducting data quality reviews of KYCs to ensure they are complete and contain all the necessary information to satisfy all legal, regulatory, bank, and audit requirements; and working on other projects assigned under the purview of AML/KYC Business Quality.
- Complete the necessary KYC screening on new clients by using a range of independent research sources to document and corroborate the client information as needed by the rules.
- Examine client information, records, and unfavorable press to develop the client risk profile in accordance with the protocols.
- Work together on global requests with the client team throughout the globe.
- Keep thorough client records for second-level review. Monitor and report any documentation errors.
- As part of the KYC process, communicate with clients, front office, credit, legal, and operations as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Experience in a comparable field or with compliance.
- Exceptional research and analytical skills with the ability to analyze large amounts of data, decipher higher risk attributes (transactional, geographical, product, customer type, etc.), and develop well-reasoned recommendations.
- Comfort with the company’s internal systems and processes or with similar processes at other institutions.
- Self-starter, capable of working under minimum supervision.
- Well-versed in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Capable of effectively articulating alert disposition in documentation.
- Compliance with norms and regulations.
- Professional and Academic Experience.
- Preferably a bachelor’s degree in computer science or commerce. An extra benefit is a full-time master’s degree or equivalent.
- Working in tandem with the leadership to accomplish client engagements and related results; providing daily client management, project management, and the creation of superior client deliverables for the team.
- Highlighting the capacity to forge strong, cooperative bonds with teammates and to take the initiative to cultivate bonds with client stakeholders.
- Proficient in both written and spoken communication.
