Roles & Responsibilities
Below are the Roles & Responsibilities –
- Entering data into the client’s loan origination platform or system, around 100–150 fields. The associate will need to access a variety of loan papers from the client’s imaging system in order to locate the necessary data to be input.
- Indexing the Borrower’s Loan Documents in accordance with SOPs
- Examine all loan documentation and ensure that the data on the client funding system, which is used to register and finance all loans, matches or is complete.
- Determine which information on the system differs from the loan documentation.
- Include a suspense clause in the event that any papers are incomplete or missing.
- To evaluate the risks and the auditor’s regulatory exposure, run the Compliance Ease test on the loan. Compliance Ease assesses if the loan satisfies the requirements of regulators, secondary market investors, FHA, VA, FHLB, Freddie Mac, and others.
- Include a suspense clause in the event that the loan fails the criteria.
- Conduct the RESPA test to determine the 10% tolerance fee (credit report, appraisal, and title fees) and the 0% tolerance charge (origination and transfer tax costs).
- Keep the Daily Production Record up to date.
