Roles & Responsibilities
Below are the Roles & Responsibilities –
- Determine the needs for the battery control strategy and create software features with Matlab, Simulink, and Simscape.
- Create test strategies based on software specifications and requirements.
- Conduct both white-box and black-box testing with simulators such as dSPACE and Opal-RT.
- Conduct and carry out battery test programs in HIL benches and battery cell simulators.
- Utilize MATLAB/Simulink tools to modify and convert battery simulation models for HIL Bench.
- Create automation programs with Python and additional resources.
- Perform complex analysis, identify, and solve challenging battery controls software problems

Required Skills & Qualifications
Below are the Required Skills & Qualifications –
- Electrical, electronic, or mechanical engineering bachelor’s degree.
- Experience debugging and conducting test cases on battery cell simulators and other HIL simulators.
- 0–3 years of experience with HIL testing, battery controls validation, or modeling; and familiarity with integrating plant models using programs like Matlab/Simulink, RT-Sim, Vector Canape, etc.
- Proficiency in the development and validation of Controls SW.
- Proficiency in battery management control systems and HIL benches for battery software validation.
- Master’s degree from a recognized engineering school in India or elsewhere.
- Strong familiarity with simulation programs such as Simscape Electrical.
- Strong familiarity with scripting and software testing technologies such as Python and Canalyzer.
- Outstanding communication and analytical abilities.
- Self-motivated individual with excellent technical leadership abilities.
- Enjoys working in a technically demanding, fast-paced setting.
