Roles & Responsibilities
Below are the Roles & Responsibilities –
- Gain extensive knowledge of testing and business operations (including how Bain operates, how apps integrate, and subject matter expertise to deliver more complete testing and more deliberate test strategies).
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of the life cycle of development.
- Provide direction to the team on standard QA techniques, instruments, and procedures; otherwise, act as the QA coordinator.
- Creating thorough functional and regression test plans that include evaluations of the user interface and process flow in addition to methodical testing of core functionality.
- Able to support a variety of testing methods, including cross-browser and API testing.
- Help the client and TSG project managers create plans for user acceptance testing.
- Supports tasks pertaining to test environments and test data.
- To support infrastructure initiatives, such as server and client operating system patches and upgrades, new server or client software that communicates with applications supported by the Application Development team, and new hardware deployments, take part in the testing of all applications as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Below are the Required Skills & Qualifications –
- Strong familiarity with standard software QA procedures, tools, and techniques.
- Excellent proficiency with a test automation tool and any programming language, such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or C#.
- Familiarity with Selenium Web-driver, Junit, TestNG, Cucumber, and Extent reports, among other test automation components.
- Working knowledge of any one tool for testing APIs combined with an understanding of Rest API testing. (Swagger UI, SOAP UI, Postman).

- Excellent communication skills both in writing and speaking.
