Roles & Responsibilities
Below are the Roles & Responsibilities –
- In charge of overseeing Citi’s whole tax liability management, including associated planning, financial reporting, compliance, and dispute procedures, both directly and in relation to client transactions.
- Helps with the company’s tax liability planning, accounting, filing, and reporting.
- Helps determine and gather the data needed to fulfill the filing requirements for income taxes and other associated obligations at all levels of authority.
- May take part in overseeing tax authorities’ payments in accordance with certain tax laws.
- Provides technical and subject-specific advice on methods and concepts, and collaborates with others to achieve the goals of the work family or subfunction.
- Enhances process effectiveness in line with unit objectives.
- Applies theoretical and practical foundations for implementing policies in the company.
- Carry out additional tasks and obligations as designated
- Assess risk appropriately when making business decisions, showing special attention to protecting Citigroup, its clients, and its assets.
- This is done by enforcing Policy, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, using good judgment when making decisions about one’s own conduct, behavior, and business practices, and transparently escalating, managing, and reporting control issues.
