Roles & Responsibilities
Below are the Roles & Responsibilities –
- Enroll healthcare providers for EDI services with several payers. This will ensure smooth electronic data interchange for the submission and processing of claims.
- ERA Enrollment: Manage the Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) enrollment process, making sure that payers send electronic payment and remittance advice to providers.
- Liaison with Payers: Assist insurance companies in obtaining the documents and records required for ERA and EDI enrollments, making sure that they are submitted on time and that services are activated.
- Internal Cooperation: Organize with internal departments to expedite the enrollment process and obtain the necessary data and paperwork from providers.
- Enrollment Tracking: Keep thorough records of all EDI and ERA enrollments, including dates of submission, statuses of activation, and correspondence with payers.
- Monitoring Activation: Keep an eye on the providers’ EDI and ERA service activations to make sure everything goes well and address any potential problems.
- Adherence to Regulations: To guarantee adherence to payer directives, keep up with EDI and ERA enrollment criteria, rules, and industry standards.
- Record-keeping and Reporting: Verify that all records pertaining to EDI and ERA enrollments are correctly completed and compliant with payer guidelines. Additionally, provide reports as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Below are the Required Skills & Qualifications –
- A medical doctorate or a bachelor’s degree in any STEM field (recommended)
- Over a year of prior experience with payer enrollment, with an emphasis on Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) enrollments.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the ERA and EDI enrollment procedures, including familiarity with ERA formats (like ANSI 835) and EDI transaction sets (like ANSI X12).
- Adaptness with EDI enrollment platforms and tools, as well as knowledge in managing EDI setup procedures and submitting EDI enrollment forms.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the capacity to work well with internal stakeholders and insurance providers to support enrollment efforts.
- Outstanding attention to detail and organizational abilities, with the capacity to keep accurate records of enrollment-related actions and track enrollment progress.
