Roles & Responsibilities
Below are the Roles & Responsibilities –
- Completing accounts payable records, processing invoices, calculating, publishing business transactions, confirming financial information, and any additional secretarial support required to meet the organization’s financial needs.
- Examine requisitions and invoices to ensure that they are approved for payment.
- Check and compute all invoice totals and extensions (as well as compute and deduct any appropriate discounts).
- Assign voucher numbers and look up past payments in the vendor files. In accordance with accounting standards and procedures, prepare vouchers that include the invoice number, date, vendor address, item description, amount, and code.
- Determine and carry out AP enhancements.
