Roles & responsibilities
- Keep an eye on every aspect of the infrastructure (phone, Wi-Fi, videoconferencing, cloud, proxy, server, virtualization, endpoints, and so forth), file tickets using the ticketing tool, diagnose issues in accordance with standard operating procedure, and promptly update the tickets.
- Make that tickets submitted during each shift are addressed promptly in accordance with the SLA promise and, if necessary, in accordance with the established escalation matrix.
- Transferring responsibilities and effectively passing along shift status information to the subsequent shift.
- In order to preserve system/link availability, communicate with ISPs and vendors to raise tickets, follow up on them promptly, and resolve them quickly and accurately.
- Genpact Infrastructure Team’s front-end representative during an incident resolution bridge call.
- Take part in bridge calls with clients to troubleshoot any issues related to the infrastructure together.
- Adhere to the specified matrix and escalation chart.
- Help the project team commission new clients and handle change requests.
- Respect the shift changeover procedure and timings.
- Help the duty managers carry out and monitor daily operational responsibilities.
