Roles & Responsibilities
- Help protect organisational assets from cyber threats by contributing to the creation and execution of cyber defence strategies.
- To spot possible security issues or vulnerabilities, track and examine security alerts and occurrences.
- To evaluate the efficacy of current security controls, perform penetration tests and security assessments.
- Participate in incident response tasks, such as looking into security incidents and putting corrective measures in place.
- Work together with cross-functional teams to make sure that cybersecurity regulations and best practices are followed.
- Keep records of your methods, findings, and processes to facilitate knowledge exchange and ongoing efforts at improvement.

Required Skills
- Strong grasp of best practices and guiding concepts in cybersecurity.
- Knowledge of endpoint security solutions, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and firewalls as examples of network security technology.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and tools, including vulnerability scanners, IDS/IPS, and SIEM.
- Superb analytical and problem-solving abilities with an acute focus on details.
