Roles & Responsibilities
Below are the Roles & Responsibilities –
- Conducting and overseeing the validation and testing of SCS products.
- Establishing and documenting effective processes to enable comprehensive product validation and testing.
- Developing SW tools to support product verification for safety-critical applications.
- Defining the requirements and creating the instruments for verification.
- Composing the source code required for the tools’ operation.
- Verifying the proper functioning of the gadgets.
- Utilising requirements management technologies to create test plans and evaluate specifications and requirements.
- Developing and executing tests using testing tools and both automated and human procedures for the hardware and software components of the items.
- Developing test cases that can be linked to specifications and requirements.
- Developing test specifications, test reports, test metrics, and validation protocols for integration and performance testing.
- Monitoring, confirming, and documenting concerns raised until they are fixed.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Below are the Required Skills & Qualifications –
- A postsecondary technical degree, preferably in geomatics, electrical, computer, software, or computer science; ideally accompanied by a credible company internship during a freshman year of college.
- Capable of programming in Python and C/C++.
- Strong written and spoken communication abilities. able to communicate through teleconferences and remote technology.
- Realising the importance of verification and validation in the development of engineering.
- Exceptional capacity for analysis and problem-solving demonstrated ability to explain ideas and solutions to others in an effective manner.
- Ability to function in a collaborative team environment.
- Knowledge of the automotive industry.
- Knowledge of safety-critical standards, such as ISO 26262, IEC 61508, or ASPICE, or industry-standard process models.
- Expertise with HIL/SIL test environments; knowledge of real-time operating systems and embedded firmware development.
- Acquaintance with automated testing.
- Understanding of Polarion and JIRA.
- Knowledge of GNSS and/or INS techniques and technologies.
