Roles & Responsibilities
- Answer routine incoming phone calls, emails, and tickets from internal and external resources asking for help with network setups, security, and cloud environment performance using best practice expertise.
- Engage in dialogue with customers, partners, and internal resources to comprehend their demands in relation to their ticket requests; offer proactive recommendations and clarifications on hosted solutions; and guarantee that service requests and incidents are promptly resolved.
- Ensure that cloud-based networking solutions are deployed, configured, and managed in accordance with company objectives and industry best practices.
- Implement cloud infrastructure modifications in accordance with authorised requests and change management procedures.
- When your internal monitoring tools send you an alert, respond to it and use best practices to quickly remedy the issue.
- Apply best practice knowledge to support cloud infrastructure, networking, and other hosting tools to guarantee high availability of customer solutions.
- Help with the cloud business continuity disaster recovery plan’s testing and upkeep of systems and procedures.
- Under the direct supervision of team members, troubleshoot and fix simple cloud issues using the company’s systems utilities and support procedures; use best practices for problem solving.
- Utilise process best practices to aid customers, partners, and internal resources by fulfilling demands for planned environment refreshes of data.
- Ensure that consumers are informed on a regular and frequent basis about the status of their issue and any delays in its resolution.
- Participate in the creation of internal documentation that accurately captures all actions taken to manage hosted systems using best practices and resolve issues.
- Help collect data for audits aimed at verifying adherence to set standards, regulations, and configuration requirements.
