- Proficiency in Linux/Unix administration, networking, and a broad understanding of open source tools and technologies, as well as cloud services.
- Understanding of IT operations and best practices in an always up and available service.
- Take part in a rotation of oncall duties.
- Excellent communication skills in English; a strong foundation in Linux networking (ip, iptables, ipsec).
- Familiarity with MySQL.
- A working knowledge of code and script (Perl/Golang preferred); familiarity with automation/configuration management using Saltstack or an equivalent program; and practical experience in both private and public cloud environments.
