Roles & Responsibilities
- An individual in this role possesses either advanced understanding of certain technical procedures or comprehensive knowledge of their technical area.
- An individual finds issues with current systems and fixes them by according to established work procedures.
- Operationally focused position in charge of carrying out daily assignments.
- Works under the project manager’s or team lead’s careful supervision.
- In charge of the designated area’s design, coding, testing, bug fixes, documentation, and technical support. accountable for timely delivery while upholding productivity and quality standards.
- In charge of following pertinent organisational procedures, providing status reports to the team lead, and adhering to rules and checklists for all deliverable evaluations.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- The following tasks are performed by protocol testing engineers using 2G, 3G, LTE, and 5G technologies.
- UE Protocol Stack for Modems Testing.
- Testing the modem’s interoperability with different network providers and working with NEM labs (Ericsson, Nokia, alcatel Lucent).
- the capacity to create test plans and test cases, comprehend network scenarios (signalling and user plane call flow), and carry out those test cases using an automated framework. gathers the necessary logs in order to analyse and troubleshoot problems discovered during regression.
- Must be knowledgeable in all 3GPP Radio Access Technologies (RAT), including network signalling, air interface, Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols for both the UE and RAN sides, as well as the NAS layer between the UE and the core network.
- Automation through the use of the scripting languages PERL, Python, and TTCN “Platforms: Internal and customer-specific platforms host Linux.
- Technological Standard: 3GPP guidelines comprehensive comprehension of the Network vendor exams.
- Tools: Prism, Anritsu, Keysight, QXDM, QCAT, and QPST test instrument expertise.
- Test scripting similar to or like RTD (for Anritsu) Tools for flashing, core dump analysis, and trace/log collecting.
