Roles & Responsibilities
Below are the Roles & Responsibilities –
- The QE Automation Engineer will be solely responsible for creating test automation solutions, establishing automation frameworks, and overseeing the execution of test plans, strategies, and product tests.
- Assist teams in creating or improving test automation solutions by collaborating closely with developers, customers, and product roadmaps and stories in an agile development process.
- Take part in the entire testing life cycle, which includes user acceptability testing, functional testing, test case development, agile ceremonies, and test automation framework development.
- Assist in developing test strategies and estimates. Participate in project meetings and solution discussions on behalf of the testing team.
- Make sure that internally built test automation frameworks and components meet strict requirements for availability, scalability, and extensibility.
- Collaborate closely with a skilled team that includes third-party contractors and/or Synchrony resources.
- Share the testing’s current status.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Below are the Required Skills & Qualifications –
- Knowledge of Web apps and Java
- Proficiency in database automated testing, web services, APIs, and GUI
- Expertise in creating automation frameworks that are integrated with CI/CD pipelines and have parallel execution (either on-premises or in the cloud) with different test kinds.
- Knowledge of Selenium-based automation and its ecosystem, including cross-browser testing, Maven/Gradle, TestNG/Junit, etc.
- Experience in testing applications using microservices architecture and cloud-based technologies.
- Experience in Agile application development methodology; BDD experience would be a plus.
- Experience preparing POCs for latest testing tools and trends and getting that implemented.
- Experience in Service Virtualization, TDM, Containerization and cloud technologies.
