Roles & Responsibilities

Below are the Roles & Responsibilities –

  • Respond to system and integration error alerts, assist with all request fulfillment requirements for apps, and carry out administrative duties such as user setup and modifications.
  • In order to address platform and software issues in servers, databases, web services, and other mission-critical platforms, handle incoming incident, request, and problem tickets from end users in the ITSM toolkit (escalated from the first line support).
  • Examine support tickets to make sure they contain all pertinent end user and issue/incident details.
  • Set priorities for tickets and address them as needed, elevating to second and third line teams if needed.
  • Execute practical desktop fixes, such as setting up hardware, installing and updating software, creating file backups, and configuring platforms and systems.
  • Monitor the incident’s progress until it is resolved, keeping important parties informed.
  • Keep a record of the problem-solving process, including all decisions and actions—both successful and unsuccessful—all the way through to the end result.
  • Maintain the functionality of all platforms and software, both new and old, throughout the company.
  • Determine and become familiar with the software platforms that the company uses and supports.
  • Provide resources for commonly asked questions, knowledge bases, and software updates on the workplace intranet to help with problem solving.
  • Support the testing of both new and current software platforms that are being developed or are being considered for purchase.
  • Conduct post-resolution follow-ups and test fixes to make sure issues have been sufficiently fixed.
