Roles & responsibilities
- Provide Workday projects and improvements that address both the functional and technical parts of the DevOps model in order to complement our current Workday implementation.
- Support the day-to-day operations of the workplace, such as maintenance, tenant management, biannual updates, and issue management. When performing daily duties with little to no monitoring, use your discretion and judgement.
- Work closely with third-party integrators to improve and refine requirements while collaborating with business, product owners, technical leads, and others. Make recommendations regarding the type, extent, and complexity of solutions.
- Create Workday functional solutions, support integrations, create custom reports, create Workday documents, and use EIB, Core Connectors, BIRTs, and/or other accessible techniques.
- Take part in and make contributions to code and configuration reviews.
- Determine, monitor, and oversee the resolution of quality problems.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, mathematics, or computer engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with SQL, Database Concepts, and Data Management (RDBMS) at the project level.
- Strong understanding of the fundamentals of the HR system a solid grasp of the downstream effects and interdependencies across different systems.
- Knowledge of the Integrations Framework, which includes Web servers, Multi Factor Authentication, SSO/Auth Provider, Version Control Systems, File Encryption, Middleware, and SFTP.
- Strong grasp of data integrity and privacy regulations is a must.
- Capacity to inform the team and manager about status and risk in an efficient manner.
- The capacity to identify an issue, guided by data, and oversee remediation actions. use strict logic to uncover underlying issues and find workable answers without adding more complexity.
- Effective in a collaborative setting; prioritises system, data correctness, and quality.
- Proficiency with the Workday HR system, Salesforce platform, or Mulesoft Cloud hub is very advantageous.
- Proficiency in Excel and understanding of Agile/Scrum approach.
- Understanding of the Release Management and Change Process.
