Roles & responsibilities
- Testing can be done manually and automatically.
- Selenium, a Coded UI package for Visual Studio, is used for automation testing, which involves creating test code from scratch for both Windows and online applications.
- Must be familiar with automation frameworks and manual test methodologies.
- Keep up with current test cases and scripts, and create new ones in response to evolving requirements.
- Execute regression and defect testing tasks both manually and automatically.
- Defect logging.
- Regression testing for quality assurance, interface and integration testing, environmental testing on many platforms, and ticket testing for bug fixes with collateral harm certification.
- Updating the test lead on status.
- Creates test strategies and scripts in accordance with directives from staff members at higher levels.
- Reports, monitors, and confirms the solutions for software issues that are found.
- Will collaborate with technical personnel to identify and replicate software issues.
- Could help with the user manual review.
- Comply with the Weatherford Quality Policy, the Operating and Technical Procedures, the Workplace Instructions, and the Quality Systems Manual.
- Recognise and abide with all corporate policies and safety regulations.
- Tasks completed with the utmost professionalism.
- Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as delegated by the supervisor while adhering to the job’s physical requirements.
- Problems with programme function, output, web screen, or content should be identified, examined, and documented.
- Create test plans or schedules based on the project’s objectives and delivery timetable.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- B.S. Computer Science or B.E. (Electronics, Electrical, and Instrumentation).
- Strong manual and automated testing (Selenium) knowledge and skill set.
- Practical experience with at least one tool for test automation.
- Proficiency with one or more programming languages.
- Capacity to convert specifications into reliable test cases.
- Strong diagnostic abilities to monitor, debug, and pinpoint problems.
- The capacity to cooperate with people and follow instructions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills, both in writing and speaking.
- Availability of off-peak times for remote teams.
- The capacity to act physically quickly in an emergency.
- 1-2 years (Entry Level; minimal exposure to or experience in practical work necessary).
- MS in Computer Science or Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with using Selenium to test web applications.
- Familiarity with a framework for UI automation.
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Unit Testing Framework.
- Technology for knowledge databases, like Oracle and SQL Server.
- Knowledge of configuration management and source control systems.
- Availability of remote teams outside of regular business hours.
