Required Skills & Qualifications
Below are the Required Skills & Qualifications –
- 0–2 years of backend development expertise with functional programming in Scala and familiarity with common languages and frameworks (Java, Spring Boot, NodeJS, Python, etc.).
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or management information systems; familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g. MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Couchbase, etc.).
- Substantial background in performance optimising large-scale applications and developing autonomous services-oriented RESTful API services.
- Expertise in TypeScript and NodeJS for backend development.
- Knowledge with NestJS is beneficial but not required for server-side apps that scale.
- It is advantageous to have prior experience integrating with JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular JS, etc.
- Capacity to create efficient API, integration, and unit tests.
- Extensive familiarity with SOLID and other engineering principles and object-oriented programming.
- It’s good to understand infrastructure automation, immutable infrastructure.
