Roles & Responsibilities

  • Observing our code of conduct, acting honourably and diligently at all times.
  • By reporting suspect employee behaviour and identifying unusual transactions, you may reduce payment fraud.
  • Separate high-risk from acceptable transactions to reduce the need for extra inspections and labour.
  • Identify workers engaged in fraudulent activity before it results in a significant loss for a high-value retailer.
  • Make sure that the product integrity is upheld during the entire transaction.
  • Ability to successfully multitask and communicate with team members, North American leadership, and law enforcement.
  • Determine trends and presumptions, then provide results and recommendations to senior officials during weekly or biweekly meetings.
  • Prompt responder with flawless email writing abilities.
  • Able to produce intricate inquiry reports with concise conclusions for leadership.
  • Recognise camera technical issues and inform leaders.
  • Work both alone and together on all facets of the investigation to swiftly finish cases.
  • Important Individuals and groups I am employed at North American Leadership in Store and Retail (VP, Corporate Investigators).
  • Teams responsible for retail security and other business support.
  • Teams within the company that provide internal support, such as IT and help desk.
  • Emergency services (fire rescue, police) and law enforcement.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience in asset security, retail theft prevention, loss prevention, or forensic investigation. Strong communication abilities both in writing and verbally. Good understanding of Excel formulas.
