Roles & Responsibilities
- To keep payroll information up to date, gather, compute, and enter data. Among other things, his or her responsibilities will include performing complex computations for retroactive pay, overtime, automobile allowances, wage garnishments, and department specialisation payments.
- Enter changes to exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, job title, department/division transfers, etc. to update payroll data.
- Manage the workflow to ensure that every payroll task is completed accurately and on time.
- Create summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and non-taxable wages in order to prepare reports.
- Assemble the YTD paperwork needed for the audit and reconciliation.
- Keep up the payroll MIS.
- Keep an eye on mail and tickets, and reply within the SLAs.
- As needed, assist in documenting the audit requirements for SOX compliance and other internal control tasks.
- When necessary, provide backup support for team members to ensure workload management and service level deadlines are met, as well as during their time off.
- Participate in assignments, special projects, and ad hoc projects as assigned by management.
- Respect and uphold personal confidentiality, professional protocol, and the privacy limitations of operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Europe expertise handling payroll in a sizable, international corporation.
- Practical experience with workforce, HCM, Payforce, and other tools built for ERP systems including SAP, Peoplesoft, Fusion, and ADP
- A solid grasp of the relevant laws and regulations as well as advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly with regard to Excel usage.
- Familiarity with company procedures and best practices in payroll.
- Strong organisational, time-management, detail-oriented, and project management abilities.
