Roles & responsibilities

1. Create and manage server-side logic with Express.js and Node.js.
2. Create, set up, and oversee PostgreSQL databases.
3. Work together with front-end developers to incorporate server-side logic into user-facing components.
4. Write scalable, reusable, and effective code.
5. Put data security and protection procedures into action.
6. Diagnose and fix software bugs.
7. Optimise programmes to run as quickly and as scalable as possible.
8. Take part in code reviews and offer helpful criticism.
9. Keep abreast of new developments in the field and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a similar discipline.
• Three or more years of backend development experience.
• Mastery of Node.js and JavaScript.
• Thorough knowledge of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of web application frameworks such as Express.js.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulousness.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Outstanding teamwork and communication abilities.
• The capacity to function both alone and collaboratively in a hectic setting.
• Familiarity with other programming languages such as Angular, React, or Python.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
